The Lincoln Civic Block Association's mission is to maintain the beauty and cleanliness of our area, to obtain improved public services for the community. To aid in awareness and enforcement of various laws and regulations affecting housing, sanitation services and public safety by working with the appropriate City, State and Federal agencies and to maintain and foster the development of the community interest in civic affairs.

Our Beginning

The Lincoln Civic Block Association was organized in 1956. The organization model was to keep the neighborhood safe and clean. Many community members worked with numerous city agencies and elected officials to maintain and upkeep the neighborhood. As you walk down our beautiful tree lined streets you will get the since of what the original members worked so hard for.

Our Goals

To encourage opportunities for cultural awareness and education and to promote pride for our community.  "UNITY IS STRENGTH"

Pot Painting Day

Meetings: LCBA meets on the third Thursday of every month, except July and August, at 6:30 PM. The location of the meeting is posted on this home page of this website. Meetings are an open forum where the issues affecting LCBA can be discussed. At LCBA we move toward our goals of improving the community. We invite representatives from time to time to our meetings in an effort to provide a forum for members to voice their concerns and opinions.

Membership

LCBA relies on members contributions/donations in the form of both dues and participation that support the organization’s efforts. Dues are $25 annually per household. Every member is encouraged to serve and participate.
